Stealth Origami

These sunglasses are created from a single sheet and are formed using a number of balanced folds. The folds in the plastic sheet create the form and also act as hinges this allows the glasses to be flexible light and versatile. The cutting pattern was emailed out to various individuals and organizations to see what they could achieve. The result was a marvelous spectrum from low-tech approach by school children cutting and folding reused plastic from bottles to a high-tech laser cut approach from a top engineering company.
